Community Health Nursing promotes the health of the community through assessment, prevention, surveillance, education, screening and treatment.  The Division provides:

  • Eligible Adult Vaccines
  • School Health Screening to Private and Parochial Schools in Elkhart County
  • Maternal/Infant Home Visits
  • Health Promotion Visits
  • Childhood Lead Program
  • Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening
  • Foot Care Clinics
  • Surveillance of Communicable Diseases
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Testing
  • Immigration Testing
  • Animal Bites and Rabies Information 
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Clinic
  • HIV Prevention
  • Emergency Preparedness
